WORKBOOKS
These workbooks are a set of humorous publications which invite the participant to do different tasks in order to challenge their workflow. How to make a boring project challenges you to intentionally plan your work the ‘incorrect’ way. Steal from your teammates is a way of coming up with ideas through a strange board game. Become a rug asks you to take on an unconventional perspective.
The collection is designed to establish a space for play, through which the participant can momentarily transform their way of working. Each publication has its own form and mechanism, following the content of the task.
This work is the result of a one-year research-based practice at the Royal College of Art. I designed this set while researching how to facilitate play and use play to disrupt our usual ways of thinking.
